Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology
Compassionate care to keep children and adolescents healthy
Our Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology program provides a collaborative approach to treating both common and rare disorders of the reproductive organs. The program, recognized by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, is child-centered and our care of young female patients is performed in a positive, healing environment, through an integrated team approach. We recognize that gynecologic problems encountered in the pediatric and adolescent populations are unique to this age group and use different physician skills than those utilized with adults.
Our goal is to provide coordinated, compassionate, comprehensive, quality health care to young girls. Our experience and expertise are combined with state-of-the-art technology, allowing us to tailor each treatment plan to the patient’s unique situation and clinical condition. Our physicians are specifically trained in minimally invasive diagnostic and surgical procedures, including vaginoscopy, colposcopy, laparoscopy, and pediatric pelvic reconstructive surgery. In each case, special attention is given to the preservation of future fertility, sexual functioning, and reproductive capacity.
