At the Epilepsy and Seizure Disorder Center at Hackensack University Medical Center, our goal is to stop or decrease the frequency of your seizures and get you back to the activities you love as quickly as possible.

Our top-ranked physicians and medical team are skilled in diagnosing and treating both children and adults with epilepsy and non-epileptic seizure disorders.

We have a dedicated epilepsy monitoring unit and a specialized team of neurologists and neurosurgeons to ensure complete management of your care and help you gain control of your seizures. Our program specializes in epilepsy diets and surgery for patients across the age span.

Physicians at the center provide comprehensive care for a full range of seizure-related conditions that allows you to access the most advanced medical and surgical procedures close to home.

You can sign into MyChart, our online patient portal. You can use the portal to view your records, request medication refills, access test results, manage your appointments and more.

Free parking is available for patients and visitors at Southern Ocean Medical Center. Designated areas closest to the Hospital entrances are marked for handicapped parking and for patient services and visitors.

We update our hospital visitation every Wednesday, based upon the risk of COVID-19 spread, the number of COVID-19 patients, hospital staffing and equipment levels.
